About Zarina Dessert Studio

I grew up in Almaty, Kazakhstan - our beautiful "city of apples" back in Central Asia. You know, whenever I make these cloud soufflé flowers using fresh apple purée, the aroma fills the kitchen and takes me right back to my childhood.
It takes me back to a home where apple desserts were just a part of everyday life. I remember how my mother would bake her signature honey cake for every single birthday. And my grandmother - bless her - whenever she made her famous Napoleon cake, she always saved a little cup of cream just for me to lick. Then there was my great-grandmother's honey chak-chak. She would make it with 100 eggs! It was massive, enough to feed dozens and dozens of people.
All those sweet memories are still so alive in everything I create today. Zarina Dessert Studio isn't just about making sweets. It is a continuation of a story much older than me. It’s my way of taking the love I inherited from the women before me and turning it into something beautifully tangible - something you can actually hold, share, and put on your family table.
Every single dessert and flower I shape carries that history forward. And each one is just my way of reminding us all: love never really ends. It simply changes form.
